Hed-Arzi was at that time probably the largest Israeli record company. Its
records spanned the spectrum of recorded music. It stilll is a major label
in Israel.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Kol Israel Orchestra on Hed-Arzi
I recently found a 78 eBay,that I had never seen like before,either from the
orchestra or the label. This is a 10" vinyl 78,that is probably from the late
1940s,put out by the Israeli music publishing company Hed-Arzi (No.767).It's
an early recording of The Jerusalem Symphony/ Kol Israel Orchestra, under the
direction of Walter Goehr, doing Anitra's Dance, and Solvejg's Song from Peer
Gynt.
I was just wondering if anybody knows anything about other releases from
this time with this orchestra,or this label.
