Glenn,
Happy holidays and Merry Christmas. Thanks for the feedback. Everyone who can work on this has departed. It is "use or loose" leave time at LC. The snow has not helped. It may be January 4 before this is attended to.

One minor clarification to pass along until our colleagues at LC can dig
their way out of the snow: in the answer to Question 23, the email
address for sending change requests to OCLC got converted into a URL.
The second paragraph of the answer should read as follows:
In the meantime, change requests for PCC records may be sent to OCLC at
[log in to unmask], submitted using the WorldCat Record Change Request
form (https://www3.oclc.org/app/bibchg/) or sent using the "Report
Error" function in the Connexion browser and client interfaces.

Subject: Revised BSR FAQ
Please excuse postings to multiple lists
The November 24 announcement about Implementation of the BIBCO Standard
Record for printed books brought many questions not covered in the
original FAQ. We promised to monitor the PCClist discussions and offer
answers to support January 4, 2010 implementation. The revised BSR FAQ
appears at:
http://www.loc.gov/catdir/pcc/bibco/BSRAnnouncement.pdf
The answers come from the BSR TG, PCC leadership, chairs of the Standing
Committees, OCLC, and the BIBCO Coordinator. I thank them for helping
us move forward in this new enterprise.
We will have a chance to share our experiences with BSR implementation
at ALA MidWinter and at the BIBCO Operations Committee meeting in May.
As always, the various PCC discussion lists keep communications open to
all members.
Best wishes for the holiday season!
