Since, at this time, and most likely in the foreseeable future, that is an
impossibility, I would settle for restoration experts who can actually
detect what is music and what is surface noise. I'm afraid that a lot of
restorations released to the public result from humans setting up the
software for decent overall sound and then allowing the software to muddle
through the restoration with little or no human intervention.
