I just saw this set on eBay.

And I must admit I have never seen anything like it.It is a postwar Deutsche Grammophon 78 set.
The description reads
"WEBER - DIE FREISCHUTZ
The first side has the Interlude to the 3rd act with Wilhelm Furtwängler conducting the Berlin Philharmonic. The remainder is performed by soloists, chorus & orchestra of the Berlin State Opera under Robert Heger. Performers include August Seider, Willy Domgraf-Fassbaender, Josef Greindl, Georg Hann, Maria Müller, Carla Spletter and Felix Fleischer. "
This is probably a repressing of earlier recordings,I have a couple of tulip 78s,of recordings from the 20s,and 30s myself,Furtwanger, and otherwise. What caught my eye was the album. In the lower right hand corner,of the front cover,it says "Imported Deutsche Grammophon Records" "Made in Germany" "Released by The London Gramophone Corp".Has anyone ever seem such a set ? Is this Decca/London? I was not aware they had an association with DGG before American Decca did at the dawn of the Lp era. Could anybody enlighten me more?
