Mike
Excuse me for saying this but you took this way too personally. I
understand that she is your friend and I'm sorry but English is not my
native tongue. I did not mean to slander her, or humiliate her. On the
contrary, I meant it as a complement. Sorry, my English is not so great.
I am not shooting from the hips. I have produced cd's my self and
distributed them MYSELF. It is hard work and it is possible. I was not
the one that said that the minimum is 10,000 units nor did I say that
they will end up in the 3$ bin. I did say that over here 500 is the
minimum, although you would not get a great price on them. Jack Benny
has enough of a following , myself included that will buy the dvd's. So
forgive me for not thinking the idea of didstribution is so great. MY
experience was so bad that I decided to distribute myself. I sell to a
limited market, granted, but I make more profit that way. For Laurra
that would mean more money to do more for the fan club, for
digitization, etc. I did not say she didn't supervise, I did not say she
is just PR. I did say she know how to do PR well. Does that mean that I
should be shot? Excuse me for giving someone a complement.
