Hi Matt
DDS drives have automatic head cleaning. Unless it's a sticky tape you
shouldn't tough these heads, let the machine do it. I used to use blank
tapes to clean the heads. I don't remember the theory anymore but it
does work. Also, there is some thing we use here that translates to deer
skin (have no idea what it's called in English). It looks and feels like
animal skin but it is very very very soft. Cleans heads quite well.
