Library Binding & Using the GPO Contract
Join your colleagues for a briefing on using the latest Government Printing Office (GPO) contract to procure library binding. This is an important session for library managers and staff directly involved in the binding preparation, shipment and receiving processes.
Holly Robertson, Head of Collections Care for the Library of Congress Preservation Directorate, will provide an overview of library binding. Brian Mano from GPO will outline the
contract requirements and responsibilities of both vendor and library. Eric Fairfield, The HF Group, will provide an overview of binding operations and give a virtual tour of the bindery. All presenters will be available to answer your questions.
