The way I parse Corey's post:
Transfer #1: transfer with RIAA EQ
Transfer #2: transfer with FLAT EQ -> process with
outboard analog RIAA EQ
Transfer #3: transfer with FLAT EQ -> process with
digital RIAA EQ
and then compare the three transfers.

My Op-amp Lab pre-amps are actually flat 20 hz to 20k hz.
My Stanton is loaded with 47K and 240 uuf at the pre amp input.
