Oh no, another thing from the past. First 8-tracks and now this. I see
these stupid swirling screens in computer audio players and flash back
to the 60s when you could build these light boxes that would flash and
blink in time with the music. When my first nephew was born in 1969, I
bought him a little portable phonograph that Lafayette (remember them?)
sold that had a bunch of colored lights behind a plastic screen in the
lid that blinked and flashed with the sound. He and his brother used it
throughout their childhoods, and a few years ago my sister returned it
back to me.
It still works.
