Tom Fine mentions something that I have on my list to experiment with using a
'known' RIAA source.

My plan is to transfer through an RIAA preamp, flat using outboard analog EQ
and
flat using post EQ via software then comparing the files.

I would be interested in opening a discussion regarding the process and I'm
interested in hearing from those who apply post EQ and for what type of (disc)
media.
