About 5lbs of OTR LPs to give away here. Please consider if you are just accumulating and if a
younger person might want these as an introduction to OTR before asking. Younger listmembers
building an OTR collection are encouraged to ask first.
All are Radio Yesteryear and Murray Hill records. They definitely sound better than ultra-lossy
digi-garbage circulating and streaming from the Internet, but they are not program-line quality by
any measure. My bet is they sound better than the vast majority of 1/4-track mono slow-speed
"collection dub" tapes that are out there. Some contain the old ads (mostly the Radio Yesteryear
albums). I never played these records hard and put them away wet, so they are in decent to excellent
shape. This was not the upper crust of LP production, so these were never superb examples of the
medium.
Programs are "The Shadow" (a bunch of episodes), "Gangbusters" (also a bunch), one each of "Ma
Perkins", "The Lone Ranger", "Gunsmoke" and "Amos n Andy".
Ping off-list if interesting. You will pay Media Mail, a few bucks for this weight. USA addresses
only.
