In the early 80's I was lucky enough enough to tour and do a lighting design for The Cramps who were promoting The PSYCHEDELIC JUNGLE Album. I saw in 71 the Jefferson Airplane  and that show was the first and best I ever saw with a light show and was my inspiration.

In 67 I was 21 and hiring the light shows and bands for the Avalon Ballroom! I worked for the Family Dog for 2 years and still have the Avalon's front door key. Groovy. 
I have an old friend in Seattle who currently does light shows for dances, raves, etc. He is famous for using the old oil and water separation and film strip techniques that were pioneered way back when. Very retro.
