A friend asked me about replacement needles for their phonograph:

It's a Geib PlayATune portable with some odd looking needles. Standard reproducer with a thumb screw to hold the needles. They have a long shaft and then taper quickly to a short, thin pin (see representation below).

They have a supply of needles but after that's gone, can they use regular Victrola tapered needles or do that have to get more of the ones they have - and if so - where can they be obtained?
