Subject: [ARSCLIST] Swedish Sonora Label
Michael Eldridge:
> I've been doing some research on the later career of

I first searched here:
http://medlem.spray.se/filmoch78or/index.htm
Click on Skivbolag = Record labels left hand side just below the Sonora
Swing turning black/yellow label,
Click on S
Then click on Sonora.
But nothing there that I could find.
But searching the Swedish Media Database I found this:
http://smdb.kb.se/catalog/id/002087269
It tells that there is indeed a 10" 78 rpm disk recorded on the Sonora Label
recorded 24th February 1949.
But it was never released being just a test recording but the Swedish Media
Database do have 3 samples of this never released test pressing.
78 rpm disk EB67-5347
Total units available: 1
Record number Sonora : Testdisk 7331 B, Testdisk 7332 A
Archive number: EB67-5347
There is also another test disk sample 2 having archive number EB67-5348
presumably with the same content.
And thirdly another 78 rpm 10" disk from outside source carrying the number
SE-23648 with what seems to be the same content.
