Hmm. The Dea started a whole new genre of Jambands. They had elements
of rock, country, spacemusic, blues, pop, and bluegrass. I'd say that
jazz was second only to classical in the least Dead style influences...
and I was 17 in 67 and sqw them at the Fillmore.
