Subject:  BARD administrative training

In April 2010, NLS will begin the third cycle of pilot training for network libraries that are
assuming responsibility for BARD administration.

All regional libraries (and subregional libraries, as appropriate) should plan to go
through the training and assume responsibility for administration of BARD before the
end of calendar year 2010.

Network libraries that are not already in training or on the schedule for the April/May
cycle need to select one of the three cycles listed below.  For planning purposes please
identify your first, second, and third choices. NLS will make every effort to ensure a
library's first choice.

Three training cycles are available:
1)   June/July 
2)   August/September
3)   October/November

Regionals with subregional libraries should coordinate responses with their subregional
libraries because all will be trained together in the same cycle.
