Digital Talking Book Machines are beginning to ship from the manufacturer, Shinano
Kenshi, with the updated software version 2.1.3.
Advanced machines with the serial number DA1-0040443 and above will have software
version 2.1.3.
Standard machines with the serial number DS1-0118247 and above will have software
version 2.1.3.
