Subject :      __Touch the Earth__ tactile book available

The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is offering one free copy of __Touch the
Earth: A Multimedia Book about the Earth's Biomes__ to all network libraries upon
request and while supplies last. The book features both contracted braille and large
print and is illustrated with tactile and visual graphics, including a tactile map of the
earth's continents.

Developed by NFB in concert with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, -
__Touch the Earth__ aims to educate middle school students about the planet's
major ecological communities and provide guidance on ways teachers can incorporate
the book into classroom instruction.
