'Currently, there is NO discography covering the classical-music recordings
of 19??-1943'
Check the listings on DISMARC.com and at http://www.charm.rhul.ac.uk/discography/disco.html; the classical listings go well past 1943. Coming soon, as soon as I can refresh, espand and edit the data, a new home and a new website.
As for a9music.com ... GIGO applies in spades, esp. for the historical recordings. It's a nice tool for in-print CDs, though.
