Hi Joel,
wget (http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/) is made for this. For instance running the command:
wget -r -A mp3 http://www.arsc-audio.org
would download all of the files with the extension mp3 from the ARSC website. The '-r' indicates that wget should crawl recursively through the full site and the '-A' notes a list of accepted extensions (mp3 in this case). Add '-nd' if you don't want it to recreate the site's directory structure.
