I was the transfer engineer who preserved these recordings.
The are housed at the Louis Armstrong Archive at Queens
College in Flushing, NY.
There are 650 1/4" reels of tape in the collection, and they
can be listened to by visiting the archive. The website

A few years ago the Jazz Heritage Society released a double
CD containing Louis' 1938 Fleischman's Yeast Program
recordings on one disc, and a second disc of excerpts from
