I have an inexpensive Pathe camera and projector from the late '20s, some
cartridges of silent films, and one home movie of Lindbergh's parade up
Fifth Avenue upon his return from France. Unique!

Jack Honeycutt asked about a good forum for real film strips. I could
suggest
AMIA, which is more directed to professional archivists, but it is my
experience that in collecting audiovisual items it is frequently the
amateurs
who are the professionals. They can afford the time to dig deeply into the
material ................
On 9 mm films: they are French Pathé narrow gauge films sometimes called
Pathé Baby. They were quite popular with amateurs, also in the UK, and
their
characteristic was that they only had one sprocket hole per image, right
in
the middle of the film between images. The equipment ranged from very fine
to
tinplate, but it all worked very well. To those who used it it was not odd
at
all.
Kind regards,
George
