Colleagues,
Thanks to all of you that have already completed the competency validation surveys for the 1410 and 1411 series. We would just like to pass along a friendly reminder to those of you that have yet to take the survey that it will be open until Friday, 23 July if you wish to provide your feedback. Thanks again for your time.

Dear Colleagues,
The Navy has been working towards identifying competencies for its workforce since 2005. Identifying which competencies currently exist and the work requirements that are likely needed in the future will allow the Department to place the right person in the right job using data-driven guidance on recruitment, reassignment, and training and education needs.
Competencies have been developed for the Librarian (1410) and Library Technician (1411) series by a sample of personnel. To further validate these competencies, we are asking you, as a subject matter expert (SME), to assess these competencies via a web-based
survey which should take you approximately 25 minutes to complete. The survey is designed in two parts. The first part is an anonymous demographic section to ensure we have a representative sample of SMEs. The second part is the assessment where you will be asked to assess and comment on the competencies that were designed for the Librarian (1410) and Library Technician (1411) series.
The survey will be open until 23 July.
The surveys are available at:
1410: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/c_1410
1411: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/c_1411

validity of this survey with the official DONCIO website

session.
