Hi Everyone -
I just wanted to send an e-mail to invite you and your staffs to the
Department of the Interior Library on Thursday, July 22nd from 10:00 am to
noon for a training session entitled "The CQ Press Electronic Library:
Introduction and New Features," part of our series of free training
sessions at the DOI Library.
Created and hosted by Congressional Quarterly Press, the CQ Press
Electronic Library is a definitive reference resource for research in
American government, politics, history, public policy, and current affairs.
A wealth of CQ Press resources and years of journalistic and editorial
expertise are combined in this valuable reference collection. These
resources include electronic versions of the CQ Weekly, CQ Almanac, CQ
Researcher, Politics in America, the Washington Information Directory, and
CQ’s Staff Directories. These resources provide Departmental staff with
access to the latest federal government information, subject related
reports, and statistics at their desktop workstations. Attendees will learn
more about these valuable databases and be offered hints on how to
effectively search through them to find the timely data that they need.
This program will be conducted by a CQ Press trainer.
All that are interested are invited. The DOI Library is located in the
Main Interior Building, located at 1849 C Street, NW, Room 1151 in
Washington. Space is limited so please contact the Library by phone at
(202) 208-5815 or by e-mail at [log in to unmask] to let us know you will be
coming. For more information about future DOI Library Training Sessions,
we encourage you to visit our Training Sessions website at
