[log in to unmask] provides BARD downloading assistance only to patrons
of network libraries that have not yet assumed administrative
responsibilities for BARD. Network libraries administering BARD
should assist their own patrons. However, NLSDownload staff are available
to help library staff with difficult patron questions.
Staff members of libraries administering BARD who e-mail a question to NLSDownload
should include their CMLS library code in the subject line of the request. This
immediately informs NLSDownload staff that you represent a Bard library.
Following this procedure will ensure prompt resolution to BARD downloading issues for both network
libraries and patrons.
Any patron inquiries sent to NLSDownload that are not BARD related--for
example, recommendations for adding books to BARD, player-use issues,
etc.--will be referred to the appropriate network library for a response.
Any network library inquiries to NLSDownload that are not BARD related will be referred
to the appropriate NLS network consultant.
