The TV program had a printed note that in 2008 Rainbo's CD production
had gone down, and part of the interview was about how much their vinyl
production has been going up!
When we had the ARSC in Santa Barbara, I wish we had known that Rainbo
was still in business, that the original owner was still alive, and the
place was so close. We should have had a tour of the place. I would
have loved interviewing the old man -- there is a great article about
him or by him somewhere on the web that I found a few months after the
conference. Among other things, Rainbo manufactured most of the WW II
soldier records to home blanks for Gem Blades and the USO, etc.
