Hi All.
1. After adding our holding of Record Research into a new database, we've found a number of issues are not present and we would like, if possible, to acquire them to make a complete set. With that in mind, does anyone have any copies they don't want/will trade/will make available for purchase or know of outlets that might have the following issues: 1-18, 21, 22, 24-25, 28, 30-32, 35-38, 43-44, 49, 55-56., 61-62, 64, 66-67, 69-70, 253/254.
We have the following issues as duplicates that could be used for swaps or equally to raise funds :) 51/52, 54, 68, 85, 86, 88, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96/97, 98, 99, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 110, 111, 115, 213/214, 229/230, 245/246, 249/250, 251/252.
2. In our indexing we've located a couple of copies of "Record Americana, Record Research Bulletin (someone had written over the cover number and date with possibly a 4 and July 1958: the front cover has a cartoon with a phonograph and the auction closed Aug. 1958). We also have a bulletin 6, 8 and Record Research Bulletin No. 11. These appear to be separate to the main "Record Research" journals. Is that the case ? What was the total issue run of these bulletins (and where might one acquire issues other than those we have stated). Any history about this specific subset would be welcomed.
Thank you for that ! And now, on to the next cataloguing mini project !
Best wishes, Darren
