as usual with these things, there were several starts and stops, even with
the same company. Getting people to "accept" the B side was an interesting
hurdle, as technology, culture, and economics clashed. The inventors and
sellers engaged in a long series of intermittent do-si-do's.
Anyway, the "full " story, or as much as can be reconstructed, will
appear in the December issue of Calif (CAPS). Five pages with illus. The sole
patentee (in the US) came to a sad end however...
