Anyone growing up in northeastern Ohio in the 1970s would have had the "GArfield 1-2323" jingle burned into their brains as I did from television ads. In fact, it survives in the the 21st century. The home repair company that did the TV ad is still in business and owns the domain www.garfield12323.com. You can even hear the short, but extremely effective, jingle on their website.
