Mary Bono *LIED* to you. She also *LIED* to all of her colleagues to
get them to vote for the thing. Her law was extending the terms beyond
what any country had at that point -- there terms generally were and are
SHORTER. She and the industry hoped that the other countries would
foolishly FOLLOW her example and extend them to the extra lengths of the
new U.S. terms. Fortunately they saw through her scheme and haven't so
far. You bought her *LIE* hook line and sinker without doing any
independent research -- which is what she and the RIAA hoped would
happen. I suggest you pay attention to Pekka. He lives with these
international regulations and is in a country far above the level of
just about everything compared with the U.S.
