I am not a fan of an open plan. Reconfigurable rooms, yes, open plan, 
no. An open space outside the rooms would be valuable, wish I had more 
of that.

Crosstalk will drive any good operator crazy.

Open plan works for unattended with headphones. Any QC work should be 
done in an enclosed acoustic space. I would suggest that multiple, 
attended ingest is even more of a reason to have an enclosed space. I 
call that my "cocktail party" ingest mode <smile>.
