From: Patent Tactics, George Brock-Nannestad
Hello,
howcome we do not hear anything from those who regularly offer items "US
only" or "pickup only", but who do not have a tagline? They are almost as
frequent as the tagline we are discussing. Come on, it is not as if somebody
offered pizzas! I personally chuckle everytime I see Music HUNTER's tagline,
because it is so tempting to stop looking.
Present President of IASA, Kevin Bradley, used to have the tagline "expect
change, except from a vending machine". I suppose someone would get
irritated, but, honestly, that is a pretty low threshold.
And you will invariably see my own "letterhead" on my own mails. Should I
abstain?
If it helps you, do walk with a heavy stick. It cannot harm the e-mail
community. Venting frustration can.
Best wishes,
George
