My preference for ClickRepair over DC for impulse noise removal came
after using DC for about five years. As far as I can tell, the major
difference between the two (for pop and crackle) is that DC uses a
filter approach while I believe ClickRepair recognizes the distinctive
waveform formed by the impulse. It seems much more effective to me, but
that's just my ears' opinions.
