The Rutgers University Libraries seek a Digital Archivist to lead the digit=
al initiatives of the Libraries=E2=80=99 Special Col lections and Universit=
y Archive b ased on the New Brunswick Campus . T he position will also work=
with the Institute of Jazz Studies in the Dana Library on the university=
=E2=80=99s Newark campus. Required: ALA accredited Master=E2=80=99s degree =
in Library and Information Science or an equivalent degree in Archival Stud=
ies. Three or more years experience working with archival resources. Demons=
trated knowledge of technologies applicable for the archival environment, c=
opyright, digitization, metadata standards, and emerging technologies requi=
red. The Digital Archivist must be a good collaborator and committed to use=
r-centered services. Preferred: Second Master=E2=80=99s degree in an approp=
riate discipline.=20
