From: Patent Tactics, George Brock-Nannestad
Hello Carlos,
thank you for your indulgence: the titles look most promising. I think that
some of the problems of the later authors are connected to their inability to
read French.
My only personal contribution to the writings about Schaeffer was together
with my wife who is an anthropologist and knowledgeable about the philosophy
of science (here comes the dreaded self-promotion so scorned on the
ARSCLIST):
Brock-Nannestad, G. and Elverdam, B.: "Pierre Schaeffer´s Objets Musicaux and
Their Relationship to Phonetic Research", Proceedings of ICoMCS December
2007, pp. 23-27.
Apart from this blurb I shall go off-list!
Kind regards,
George
