Not interested in defacto, right now. Only, dejure:
What about if someone has purchased a copy of a copyrighted work and
wants a third party (i.e., YOU) to transfer it to a (backup /
safety?) copy CD for them for hire?
Is it legal to give someone (back) both a store-bought copy _and_ a
personal use "dub?," or does the end user have to make his _own_
personal use copies?
Everywhere I've read so far has only mentioned the legality of making
copies for oneself. How about having others make personal use
copies (for you) for hire?
Thanks,
Andrew
