Are there any published technical details about the recordings Bruno Walter and the Columbia 
Symphony Orchestra made in Hollywood in the early stereo era? Photos on reissue CD's show several 
RCA ribbon microphones but the CD's never mention the recording engineer or any details about how 
the recordings were made (number of mics, number of tracks, etc). Was any of this information ever 
noted and have any of these notes survived?
