The NIH Handheld User Group (HUG) invites you to join us for the 2011 Handheld User Group Expo!

This event will feature 25 vendors representing the latest in mobile technologies, carriers, website/app developers, and research/clinical applications. In addition to the Expo, a series of mobile-related presentations will be held in the Masur Auditorium from 9:30am-2pm and several in-depth developer sessions will be held in parallel from 10am-2:30pm in the NIH Library training room. All presentations in Masur will be broadcast live on http://videocast.nih.gov. Driving directions are listed at the bottom of this message.

About the HUG:
As a joint effort of the NIH Library and the Center for Information Technology (CIT), the HUG's mission is to provide NIH users with information on handheld resources, services, implementations, and technologies; to offer a forum for the exchange of information and ideas; and to promote awareness of the benefits of handheld technologies in fulfilling the NIH mission.
Getting to NIH:
This event is open to the public but the campus does require security screening. Since parking is very limited on campus, it is best to take Metro (Medical Center station). Directions are here:
There is a small lot near Bldg. 10 (just across the street from Bldg. 9 on the map) that has metered parking. The best bet is MLP-11 which is a paid parking garage just outside the Metro station. If you've not been here before, factor in extra time for the security checks and distance between the campus entrance and the library.
