Since I'm not an engineer or equipment expert, I'd suggest you write to Tom Packard about the unit, which by the way is an analogue device, unlike computer tools or CEDAR. -Richard

How does Packburn differ from the software cleanup tools available today, or even the earlier CEDAR basic units (of ca 5 year vintage). Not too much information on the net from googling..
