I believe that while the JEMF collection went to UNC, the JEMQ went with
Paul Wells (then editor) to the Center for Popular Music at Middle
Tennessee State University. Under Paul's guidance the JEMFQ published at
least one more issue before there was a title change to American
Vernacular Music. There were one or two more issues published under that
title before VAM ceased publication due to lack of support from MSTU.
Back issues (not the ones Cary is selling) are still available through
the Center for Popular Music.

I was saddened to see the collection go because it meant the end of the
JEMFQ (I think we lost Mugwumps at about the same time) and the end of
releases of their material on the JEMF label, which had a great impact
on me.
