In the folk dance community, 78rpm records pressing and sales on some of the
specialty labels also went well into the 1960s and you could still buy them
new in through the 1970s (not sure when they stopped being pressed). We
used Bogen/Lenco, Califone or Newcomb record players, also continuous speed
and with the removable speaker and a microphone jack.
