There's a notable, really problematic from my standpoint, fact that
the HTML5 community rejected RDFa and wrote their own alternative
largely based on its use of QName-like URI shortening. Again, it's not
necessarily that I agree with their position (I don't), but the fact
is QNames are highly controversial.
