Michele - while I'm thinking about it, nicknames are a great example of
the beauty of EAC-CPF. I think we made the standard agnostic for this,
on purpose. There are options for recording parallel and alternate
names, which was kinda the one of the big points, from my point of view.
I'll try to track down Kathy Wisser's slides about this.

Subject: EAC - alternate names
Another question: what about encoding alternative names such as
nickname? For example, John Robinson commonly known as Jack. Which
encoding would be correct?
<nameEntry>
<part localType="surname">Robertson</part>
<part localType="forename">John K.</part>
<part localType="nickname">Jack</part>
</nameEntry>
Or:
<nameEntry>
<part localType="surname">Robertson</part>
<part localType="forename">John K.</part>
</nameEntry>
<nameEntryParallel>
<part localType="surname">Robertson</part>
<part localType="forename">Jack</part>
</nameEntry>
