Owen,
Similarly, I minted my own property for dealing with coordination in
lcsubjects.org (http://LCSubjects.org/vocab/1#coordinates). I opted
for an RDF container (in the case of lcsubjects.org, a Seq) over a
collection simply because I couldn't be assured that I actually know,
upfront, all of the concepts being coordinated. This is also one of
my fundamental problems with coordination in MADS (although, like you,
I also don't feel like I *get* MADS, which I'm not sure what that says
about MADS or us).
Anyway, here's an example:
http://lcsubjects.org/subjects/sh99014751#concept
There is RDFa in there and there are links to RDF/XML, ntriples and RDF/JSON.
Anyway, I think it's worthwhile to figure out how coordination could
work without the overhead of MADS. CUL's approach (dcterms:hasPart)
is certainly interesting.
-Ross.
