No, I keep it only in the TASCAM plastic case...
I know the problem of leathers case (I have experienced it with my UHER 4200 Report IC a lot of years ago).
My colleague also keep his TASCAM in the mentioned TASCAM plastic case. He said me he thinks it is a metal evolutive "sickness".
The pictures of the TASCAM HD-P2 in the Jeff Towne review are very eloquents!
TASCAM never answer me about this phenomenon.
