Hi Brian:
If your recordings were of good audio quality and your tapes are in good shape, I think you'll get
lots of recommendations for a Dragon. The auto-azimuth will bring out the best of your work. Good
luck and hopefully the transfer project will bring back more good memories than cause new headaches.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Cassette Deck Recommendations
First Happy New Year to all.
I'm looking for advice on a cassette deck to transfer a large collection of concert recordings that
I've made over the years. I was a live engineer for many years and I have quite a few cassettes.
These are not for sale just in need of transfer to preserve them.
I recorded most of these on Sony DCD-5 or Nakamichi 550. I still have the Sony.
I was thinking either a Nakamichi Dragon or something along those lines.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
