Dear Rainer,
Thanks for your message.
Alas, Yale holds the next disc, both sides conducted by Pulver but without
vocals.
You might ask Steve Smolian about this; he once marketed sets of imported
USSR 78-rpm discs and may remember who bought them (the first customer
received one of every disc in stock, the next received one of every disc
of which there was more than one copy ...).
With best wishes for 2012, Richard

I received the message below from a collector in Israel. I cannot help -
can you?
"I'm trying to find a recording of the record, which was made in USSR in
1937
5403 ????? ? ?????? ?? ????? "????????? ??????". ???. ?.?.?????? ? ???.
?/? ?.???????? (?????).
(matrix 5403, The Boytre Song from the play "Boytre, The Bandit", sang
by V.L.Zuskin, acc. by GOSET Orchestra, cond. by L.Pulver)
I'm searching it for Zuskin's daughter, Alla. She lives now in Israel
Veniamin (or Benjamin) Zuskin was an actor and the last director of
Moscow State Jewish Theater (GOSET), and he was murdered by Stalin's
order in 1952.
Maybe you know someone (person or organization) who hold it?2
Rainer
