Same here however this was only when not trying to use an elevated Dolby
level and with very careful alignment of the tape machine.
Most of the west coast US studios I worked around did not properly align
their Dolbys. I asked someone from Dolby about this at an AES convention and
he smiled and said they'd given up on explaining to people in the US how to
do it right and changed the manual to describe the most common methods.
