Hi, Tom,
I ordered the MLP set as well as the Decca set and the Living Stereo
set...all too good not to have, especially now that Robert is getting
more into classical music and heading towards a university-level program
in same.
As to the cutting room, almost all of the master tapes that were cut
into LPs that I have seen that went through the better mastering rooms
up here in Canada have Pultec sheets giving the EQ for each
track/cut/band on the side. It appears that the EQs (and levels) were
adjusted "on the fly" between bands.
Cheers,
Richard
