I am interested in your thoughts on the use of plywood to make custom made
crates to hold our lacquer discs. As most of you are aware, we have been
going through an unprecedented number of earthquakes since Sept 4, 2010.
We are currently in a temporary location, ground floor level, and have a
lease for 2 years.
The longer term plan is to move into purpose built premise in the future.
The reason for the crates is that we can move them in the future and they
will be stored at virtually ground level eliminating the 'falling off
I have read a few articles about plywood and off-gassing but would like to
hear from this wise group about your experience/knowledge of plywood. The
other crates we use are strong plastic but have sloping sides so are not
ideal or desirable for our disc collection.
